TRIP #4
NINE (9) DAY TOUR
FROM NIPAWIN TO MEADOW LAKE AND RETURN
This is a suggested round trip but could start or end at any of the suggested resorts. For your safety, please download the appropriate trail maps (links located at the bottom of the page) and familiarize yourself with the trails you will be travelling.
Day 1 - Begin trip at Nipawin, travel by Trans Canadian Snowmobile Trail to Lower Fishing Lake.
Day 2 - Travel from Lower Fishing Lake by Trans Canadian Snowmobile Trail traveling through Little Bear Lake, Whelan Bay and Candle Lake to Christopher Lake.
Day 3 - Travel from Christopher Lake by Trans Canadian Snowmobile Trail traveling via Canwood through Debden to Big River.
Day 4 - From Big River travel via Trans Canadian Snowmobile Trail travelling through Leoville and Chitek Lake to Meadow Lake.
Day 5 - From Meadow Lake you can travel onto Cold Lake, Alberta via Trans Canadian Snowmobile Trail.
Day 6 - From Cold Lake, Alberta, return to Meadow Lake and travel onto Chitek Lake and stay the night.
Day 7 - From Chitek Lake travel back through Leoville to Big River.
Day 8 - From Big River travel back through Debden, Canwood and onto Christopher Lake.
Day 9 - From Christopher Lake, travel through Candle Lake to Lower Fishing Lake and onto Nipawin. This will be a long day.
